Sunday bliss: feeding swans in Hyde Park on a winter day

Sometimes there is nothing better than to go to the park, forget about the city for a while and simply feed the swans… and the ducks and flying squeaky white birds.

Despite it being a grey and cold day, My Man (from now on MM) and I headed to London’s Hyde Park to feed the ducks and the squirrels. The weather was as magical as only a winter day in England can be: slightly cold, somewhat rainy, and very misty.

Because sometimes that’s just what you need.

  1. Deilig:) her snør det, mye, over en meter på plenen og det ser ikke ut til å stoppe:) hadde helt klart trengt en regnværsdag i London med kjæreste og svaner:) nyt det:) klem

  2. Ahh one of our favourite past-times. So lucky to live by the river that we can see the beautiful swans and canadian geese almost every day – even if it’s effing freezing it’s such a lovely feeling to feed those funny beings and see them up close. Bring on the spring-time though so we can catch a glimpse of the little balls of fluff!
