I can’t for the life of me remember where I found this as I’m writing this, but thought it fitting on this evening as we’re approaching February – the month of St Valentine – and I love blogs (have too many of them in fact) and LOVE coffee.
Let’s make February great!
Origami Money And Panda Box
Yes, it’s just what the title says: origami money and a panda box.
Even though the merry holiday is long gone, I thought I’d share parts of what my brother got me for Christmas. Now I always appreciate money as a present because I can then buy myself what I want. And I especially appreciate it when it comes in such a cute form and in a panda box! Now that’s a kitty and tree – there was a heart too, but six week inbetween payday made me reach out for it a couple of days ago.
After Blue Monday, I’ve decided to have a Tokyo Tuesday. No more words, just an image of what is to come…
Not sure where the first two weeks of January have gone… It only seems like yesterday I was flying back from a snow covered Norway. Since then I’ve had many thoughts fill this head of mine; work, life, play and so on. A recent tweet by a friend lead me to this beautiful photo which pretty much describes the way I want to feel right now.
It also lead me to hipstamatics.com, a blog dedicated to iPhone Hipstamatics photography. This is a beautiful collection, some of which is currently on display at The Orange Dot Gallery in London. I might have to go for a wander.
This beautiful photo is by Steph and you can see more of her photos here.
Every January that I can remember, I’ve found myself sitting in my room, looking at the clothes, magazines and whatnot scattered around me; things that desperately need a home. Then I’ve remembered the bags with old papers and whatnot that also need to be allocated a space. Thing is, I just haven’t got the space. Well, I do have space, but I haven’t got the necessary boxes/folders/drawers to allocate a ‘home’ to them. Or should I just use bin bags at this stage?
It is once more the first month of a brand new year, and I’ve again set myself the task of becoming organised at home. And this year I will need to get rid of any nonessential items, as October looks to be a month of big change and the beginning of a new chapter of my life, where there might not be room for all the things I’ve been hoarding over the years.
So throughout January I’ll be spending my evenings and weekends sorting out my abode in preparation of a more uncluttered life.
I’m thinking if I take it in small steps and focus on one area at a time it should be done by the time February comes around. Wish me luck!
Image is not actually me but a fantastic find from Feelgood Style.
